Sunday 28th November 2010

At its recently held Annual General Meeting, Skelmersdale Cricket Club took the bold and unprecedented step of appointing 16 year old Ben Maddocks as 1st XI Captain for the 2011 season.

Ben was introduced to 1st XI as a 13 year old in 2007, by skipper Phil Armstrong, when Skelmersdale were still in the Southport and District League. He became a regular for the 1st XI in 2009.

Long serving, all rounder Jonas Smith will be vice captain.

The following are Maddocks' statistics for the 3 years Skelmersdale's 1st XI has been in the Liverpool Competition.
