Tyms and Kenny move to the Coast
Monday 27th February 2012
Former St Helens captains Darren Tyms and Rob Kenny have opted to play at Ainsdale this season where they will join former team mate Adam Friar who announced his move in January.
It is an opportunity for both players to play in the First Division.
Tyms, now 42, reckons he has two or three years left at 1st XI level and wants to play at the highest level he can.
Having been at St Helens for over twenty years where he held various positions, Tyms can now sleep peacefully at night and just think of the century he'll score in his next match.
Meanwhile Rob Kenny, at 31, will add experience to the bowling as well as lower the average age of a team that contains a couple of quinquagenarians.
