rises to a rare Level 3

Chris Rimmer (pictured left), scorer with Ormskirk's 1st XI has recently accredited by the ECB ACO as a Level 3 scorer and becomes one of only four in Lancashire. That number includes County CC scorers.
Level 1 means you have been shown to be a very good scorer. (ECB guidance is that all premier league games should be scored by Level 1 or above)
Level 2 means you have been shown to be an outstanding scorer.
Level 3 is the very top and very rare.
Clubs can be assured they are in safe hands when Chris is scoring.
Chris, who scored for Australia in last year's ODI against England at Old Trafford, has scored with various Lancashire teams since 2007, including juniors, ladies as well as the 1st and 2nd XIs.
Regarded by many as the Liverpool Competition's premier scorer, Chris began scoring at Sutton in 1982 when they were in the Merseyside Competition. In 1994, he was invited by then captain Alan Hitchmough to score with St Helens Recs after Barry Parker retired and was there until 1999, after which he transferred his services to New Brighton where he remained until the end of the 2005 season.
Chris hadn't planned to score in 2006, but he received a phone call in May of that year from Ormskirk's Nick Glayzer after resident scorer John Brugnola had taken ill, asking "Can you help us out for a few weeks until John is better?". The few weeks became years and Chris is now preparing for his eighth season as 1st XI scorer at the Brook Lane club.
A few years ago, he was one of only two scorers in the LDCC, the other being Wigan's Neil Girvin, that was using the Total Cricket Scorer (TCS) laptop scoring system. Now it is a requirement in the league's Premier Division.
"Although I still score on paper as well, I've been using TCS for a number of years. It's simple and very easy to use," he said. "As well as the real time scoring, the graphs and statistics are in great demand amongst the players. The biggest impact is that anyone connected to the internet can follow a game, ball by ball, using the TCS website."
