Sefton Park are back in the First Division after their fifteenth win of the season, this time at bottom of the table, Sutton. Sutton's poor season continued as they were dismissed for 105 with Peter Kelly taking 3-23.  scorecard

Second placed Wavertree survived a draw at Skelmersdale with the last pair at the crease. Skelmersdale recovered from 22-4 to be able to declare at 214-7 after 61 overs with Luke Manley hitting 52 and Barry Leadbetter 51 not out. Matt and Johnathan Nation took three wickets apiece. Wavertree opener Darren Collin hit 44 but it was downhill from there as they hung on to close at 110-9, Mohammed Rehan taking 6-49.  scorecard

Spring View skittled Alder for 88 and are now a point behind Wavertree in third place. Umega Chaturanga bowled unchanged for twenty overs in taking 5-38 before Alex Dean (36) and Lewis Matthews (38) took Spring View home by eight wickets.  scorecard

Caldy were never in the hunt against Burscough. They went from 71-3 to 104 all out with Matthew White taking 4-17. When Burscough batted, they needed six runs for victory when an over zealous umpire assessor encouraged the umpires to go off for tea at 3:30pm. When play resumed, Burscough completed a ten wicket victory with Rob Glaysher 86 not out.  scorecard

Old Xaverians lost their first four wickets for 35 against Prestatyn before Jamie Doyle (63) and Josh Dilworth (58) added 93 for the fifth wicket. They batted for 60 overs in all and declared on 218-9 during which Gareth Boughey bowled unchanged for 29 overs and took 5-106. Boughey then hit a career best 140 not out from 135 balls with 16x4s and 3x6s, adding 104 for the third wicket with Danny Davies (44) as Prestatyn eased home by six wickets.  scorecard
