It's back to Moor Park on Sunday 22nd September for Northern and Ormskirk as today's final of the Ray Digman Trophy was abandoned after ten balls of the second innings.

Ormskirk elected to bat and reached 258-4 in an innings reduced by an over to 44. In reply, Northern could only face 1.4 overs before rain put an end to proceedings for the day.

Whilst Northern's 1st XI final was put on hold, their 2nd XI were losing to New Brighton at Rake Lane in the final of the Chester Cup.
