Vinny Wood has vacancies at Landhaus Alexa
Saturday 3rd March 2018
You may remember Vinny Wood (pictured above in 1978) as an opening batsman at St Helens Recs CC and a member of the Merseyside Police Force but since retiring, he and his wife, Suzie, have set up home at Landhaus Alexa, a ski lodge in the small village of Eben im Pomgau in the heart of the Sportwelt Amadé region, approximately 35 minutes drive south of Salzburg in the Austrian Alps.
There are four rental apartments which can each sleep 2-5 people.
They have been there since October and are working their way through their first season and still have some vacancies in March for anyone who wants a last minute ski fix before the cricket season starts. Instead of chewing fat over fish, chips and mushy peas why not do it over Wierner Schnitzel or Frankfurter Würstchen?
There are regular flights from Liverpool (easyJet) or Manchester (Jet2.com) to Salzburg.
