Ormskirk collapsed to 7-3 and were 25-4 when Jonny Glayzer joined Gary Knight. The pair then added 132 before Glayzer fell for 50.  A quick fire 21 not out from eight balls by Nicky Caunce took them to a final total of 211-7 with Knight unbeaten on 101 from 94 balls with seven fours. Tyler McGladdery topped Rainhill's batting but when he went at 143-6, the writing was on the wall as the remaining wickets added 34 to give the Brook Lane team victory by 34 runs. They now face Furness in the Group 4 final at Brook Lane after they beat Blackpool by four wickets with three balls remaining.

Hyde posted 227-5 against Northern at Werneth Low. The visitors lost three wickets for 37 in 8.4 overs before Chris Brownlow (65) and Liam Grey (56) added 110. This was followed by an unbroken stand of 71 by Justin Snow (44*) and Carl Hey (31*) who took Northern to a place in the Group 6 final at Moor Park.

The Eagle has landed
Wallasey were 86-4 after 17.3 overs against Leigh when Andrew Ward joined Alex Eagles who was on 32. The next 22 overs saw the pair add 169 runs of which Ward's contribution was 54 compared to Eagles' 103. Wallasey added a further three runs to finish on 258-6 with Eagles ending on a career best 141 not out from 121 balls with 15x4s and 5x6s. Leigh had their first fifty up in 5.1 overs. Toby Bulcock and Tom Foster (47) then added 117 in 21.4 overs. When Bulcock went for 112 (98 balls, 7x4s, 2x6s), Leigh required 28 from 20 balls with 6 wickets standing. A collapse took them to 255-8 meaning they needed four runs from four balls to win as Wallasey had lost only six wickets. They scored three before Patrick Allan was run out going for the winning run off the last ball. The totals ended level on 258 with Wallasey advancing to the Group 6 final against Northern at Moor Park on Sunday June 24th by having lost fewer wickets.

A third wicket partnership of 138 between George Johansen and Adam Campion set Colwyn Bay on their way to a comfortable second round win against Northop by 129 runs in the Welsh Cup with Johansen hitting 121 from 106 balls with 7x4s and 3x6s.
