Vitality CLUB T20 Finals Day - Swardeston beat Toft in the final

Having already won last Monday's Royal London Club Championship final against Nantwich, Swardeston made up for last year's defeat by Hanging Heaton as they beat Toft in today's final at the County Ground, Derby to win the Vitality CLUB T20 for the second time in four years.

They began the day by beating Cranleigh by 47 runs.

Rain restricted the second match between Sheffield Collegiate and Toft to 12 overs a side with the Cheshire County League side going on to win by 6 wickets.

Swardeston posted 178-7 in the final but Toft were all out for 157, leaving Swardeston winners by 21 runs.

This was Swardeston's fourth appearance on finals day and their third victory following on from 2010 and 2016.
