We welcome the West of England Premier Cricket League for the semi final of the Northern Rock League Cricket Conference President's Trophy with the Liverpool Competition at Bootle's Wadham Road ground on Sunday 17th August 2003, stumps being pitched at 1:30 pm.
For those travelling from the
West Country, the route is as follows:
M5 - M6 - M62 - M57
On reaching the traffic lights at the end of the M57 (at Switch Island), follow the signs for A5036 (Dunnings Bridge Road, Liverpool). This is the second turn off from the island, passing the A59 (Liverpool).
A short distance from the motorway on the A5036, there is a set of traffic lights.
(Please note on the right hand side is a Travel Inn called the 'Packet Steamer'. For access to this, turn right at the traffic lights into Copy Lane by the police station and follow the road to the right (North Perimeter Road). Entry to the Packet Steamer (tel: 0151 531 1497) is on the right. They have double rooms for £44.95 with full English breakfast (£6.50) or continental breakfast (£4.50) extra.

To go to Bootle CC, continue
along A5036 (Dunnings Bridge Road).
Through traffic lights (Park Hotel on right) and pass municipal golf course on the right.
Straight on at traffic lights (Netherton Hotel on left).
(Dunnings Bridge Road becomes Church Road).
Through traffic lights at Kirkstone Road.
Turn left at next traffic lights into Hawthorne Road (waste land on left, pub on far right).
Go along Hawthorne Road, through pedestrian lights (Harris Drive).
Through main traffic lights at Linacre Lane.
Through more lights at Aintree Road (on left).
On to roundabout with Christ Church on left.
Go straight on (third exit from roundabout).
Through next set of lights (Balliol Road).
Go on a few hundred yards and take first right into WADHAM ROAD (paper shop on the corner).
Pass railings on right and turn right into the club.
