Bryson lands Merseyside post
Friday 5th December 2003
Paul Bryson, known to many as a Cheshire and ECB X1 player, has landed the post of Cricket Development Officer for Merseyside and West Lancashire.
He will bring a wealth of cricket experience to the role also as a respected coach of the Lancashire Ladies Team, which won Div 2 of the County Championships this season.
Paul takes over from Bobby Denning, who has galvanised cricket in Merseyside over the past three years and who has moved onto a similar post in Greater Manchester.
In addition to working with clubs, schools and district squads, Paul will look to develop further links with the Merseyside Sports Partnership who have been very supportive of the LCB in their cricket development, especially through the efforts of Director, Jean Stephens and Club Development Officer, Tessa Whieldon.
