Bootle's Andy Gill bowled 12 overs unchanged at Moor Park and took 8-12 as Northern were skittled for 47 in 23.2 overs.

Ashley McDonald (32*) and Adam Burton (20*) then wrapped up proceedings after 8.2 overs to give Bootle a win by 9 wickets.

Along the bypass at Cricket Path, Wallasey's 17 year old Nathan Beaver took his first hat trick. He had Formby's Ben Aitchison caught by Wallasey captain, Richard Sutton, with the last ball of one over and then bowled Andrew Kenyon with the first ball of his next. His hat trick ball trapped Blake Polson lbw to leave the home side reeling at 112-6. They were eventually dismissed for 138 and lost by eight wickets.
