bottom after Lytham defeat
Saturday 27th June 2015
Questions have been asked when Bootle were last bottom of the table. The answer is not as far back as your may think, 25th May 2013 to be exact. Bootle were on the rack at 53-5 after electing to bat but a late order recovery took them to 153 after 44 overs with Luke Williams taking 4-42 and Daniel Edwards 3-28. With one series of matches to go to the half way stage of the season, New Brighton lead the ECB Premier League table by 39 points from Ormskirk who move back into second place.
