Comment:

The change of method of the draw is surely a retrograde step as clubs will no longer be able to check on possible opponents after their match with a view to playing the next round on the following Sunday. With clubs having to wait until Wednesday for the draw, they will say it's too short notice to arrange a match for Sunday which could lead to a wasted date.

This gets worse when clubs have 3rd XIs that play league matches on Sundays. Matches may have to be rearranged at short notice or even conceded.
