Obituary - Mrs Joan Bradley
Tuesday 1st May 2018

The death was announced last night of Mrs Joan Bradley following a brief illness. She was 86 years old.

Joan was a Life Member at Wallasey CC, an honour granted in recognition of her years of service on the social committee with many as Chairwoman, and for all the other club activities she assisted with such as after match catering.

She was a great lover of cricket, and a Bradley family heirloom is a signed Australian bat from the 1950s which she acquired on a visit to Headingly in her youth.

Joan is survived by her husband, David (himself an ex Wallasey CC Chairman), son Simon (a Wallasey cricketer 1977–1996), and the three grandchildren she adored so much, Tom, Ollie and Libby.

Joan’s funeral service will take place at Landican Crematorium, Arrowe Park Road, Woodchurch CH49 5LW on Tuesday 29th May at 1:30 pm, followed by a gathering to celebrate her life at The Quadrant, 5-6 The Quadrant, Hoylake, Wirral CH47 2EE.
