 Royal London Club Championship - fifth round 

Northern join Ormskirk in the quarter finals of the Royal London Club Championship after beating Cavaliers and Carrington by 3 wickets.

Chasing 182 to win, the Liverpool Competition side required 33 runs from 5.2 overs when their seventh wicket fell but Jack Boardman (33*) and Tom Sephton (5*) hit the runs with a ball to spare.

Northern now travel to Wolverhampton in the quarter finals.

Meanwhile, Ormskirk had to sit and wait for their opponents, Bradshaw, conceded the tie, preferring to play in the Bolton League's Vitality CLUB T20 finals day.

Ormskirk will travel to Richmond in Yorkshire to take on Richmondshire in the quarter finals on Sunday August 5th.

New signing Luke Procter hit 109 from 115 balls with 13x4s and 1x6 to take Liverpool to 228-6 against Wavertree who replied with 150 all out with Henry Charlton taking 4-16.
