Lancashire Knockout Cup - quarter finals

We are still on track for a possible all Liverpool Competition final at Ormskirk on Sunday September 2nd.

Ormskirk will meet Darwen in the semi finals of the Lancashire Knockout Cup, sponsored by Heineken, after beating Netherfield by 106 runs.

Ormskirk were cruising at 191-3 but lost their last seven wickets for 28 runs with Matt Jackson taking 6-22. Alex Rankin (76), Andy Baybutt (43), Gary Knight (34) were Ormskirk's main scorers.

A steady start for Netherfield took them to 78-2 but once again the introduction of Tom Hartley brought curtains for the opposition as he took 4-23 to send them to 113 all out.

Calvin Savage powered his way to 174 from 99 balls with 13x4s and 12x6s as Darwen raced to 303-7 against Rochdale who were dismissed for 109.
